When installed correctly, it eliminates the ‘play’ in the kickstand that allows the motorcycle to roll forward a little. That little movement has caused many a rider to have that good shocking PUCKER for fear that their bike is about to go down!
Generally when a PUCKERSTOP is installed correctly, it will set the kickstand forward approximately 3-5 inches.
This PUCKER STOP ‘thumb’ is designed to lock in the kickstand at a small offset angle. This change in angle allows the kickstand to rotate 2-3 inches forward of it’s normal position.
Because of this small change in the angle, the motorcycle resting on the kickstand will stabilize & practically eliminate any normal forward movement in a parked bike.
